Haven’t been here in a while, but I’ll probably be here a lot more often since I’ve given up Twitter for lent. So many different thoughts run through my head on a daily basis and I decided to start tumblr-ing. Digression! Okay, now to the point. Looking through my last couple posts, I mention my profound love of dark skin countless times - its really ridiculous lol. I guess I can say its just something I’ve grown to love with all my being. Though beauty is color-blind, dark skin is one of those traits that many girls and women still have so much trouble finding beautiful. Bob Marley once sang, “Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery.” Many are slaves to society and their minds and believe that light is right. My constant repetition of my love for dark skin is not a mental trick. ”If I say it enough, maybe I will begin to believe it.” False. I already believe it. "You madd dark!" - that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Dark skin is another petal among petals placed side by side on the colorful flower of beauty.

South Africa’s economy was at $384 billion in 2012, according to the World Bank. Estimates for 2013 indicated further expansion to $510 billion, Nigeria’s chief statistician, Yemi Kale, told a news conference in the capital, Abuja.
